BSP leads community effort to keep Apia Clean

Since its launch in 2015, BSP’s annual Go Green initiative has become a signature community programme across all BSP markets, mobilizing staff, partners and local groups to take collective action for a cleaner, healthier environment.

On Saturday, 22nd November 2025, Go Green returned in full force, uniting communities and reasserting BSP’s long-standing commitment to building a greener future. Six teams of BSP staff and community partners worked across the Apia central business district, dedicating their morning to cleaning public spaces and raising environmental awareness.

The activity delivered meaningful impact by promoting sustainability, encouraging responsible waste management and strengthening partnerships across sectors.

BSP extends sincere appreciation to the following oranisations for their invaluable support: Ministry of Women, Community & Social Development, Samoa Tourism Authority, Goshen Trust Mental Health Services, National University of Samoa, Onomea Productions, Office of the Regulator and Lakapi Samoa.

Their Collective effort embodies the spirit of Go Green, working together to safeguard the environment for current and future generations.

As the initiative enters its second decade, BSP remains committed to expanding Go Green and empowering communities across all our markets to build a more sustainable future.
